I recently did this poster for a friend’s band. I thought it was a perfect illustration of how freebies come in so handy when you are designing something on the fly (especially when its a favor). Coming soon are new freebies, including some of the elements in this design.

I love using the opacity masking features in illustrator. So I created this to demonstrate a small selection of ways in which you can use this method to create an image that fades out into the background.
