Now you can do it yourself and create some really funky stuff. I’ve had so much fun with these. I’ve included the entire illustration so you can see how it was done.

“Looks Distorted!” If your result looks really distorted try flipping the brush. To do this:

Note: If you’ve used the brush already you may want to create a duplicate from the fly out menu and then flip the brush. That way the change does not affect the rest of your work).

    Found your swirly curly sick kit on Deviant art an think the look top draw, just tried to upload them into CS2 illustrator and told they are done in newer version and won’t load, do you know if there is anything I can do to get around this.

    I can’t get these to work either. I’m using CS2, and I can save the file as a brush palette, but the palette is empty, even if I clear out all the masks and groups. I’d really like to be able to use these. Any suggestions?

    Hey for all the newbies.
    1. Unzip the “Brushes Only” file
    2 copy the “createsk8_swirlycurls_brushesonly.ai” file
    3 Go to the folders… Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Presets\Brushes\
    4 paste the “createsk8_swirlycurls_brushesonly.ai” file in here.
    thats it, next time you run Illustrator go under Window>Brush libraries it will show there.
